Deafblindness is a profound and unique disability, where individuals experience both hearing and vision loss, often creating significant challenges in communication, mobility, and daily life. This dual impairment can lead to a deep sense of isolation, as it limits one's ability to interact with the world.
(1) 93 deaf-blind children have been linked to ‘Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana’.
(2) 50 deaf-blind children have received their UDID cards. (3) 25 deaf-blind/MSI children have been provided with assistive devices. (4) 93 deaf-blind/MSI children linked to receive concession certificates. (5) 23 deaf-blind children have been clinically assessed at ‘Mure Memorial’. (6) hospital and have been given medications as per individual needs. (7) 15 deaf-blind/MSI children have been provided Vocational Training by a trainer in making decorative items and ‘Rakhi’ etc. (8) 15 young adults with deaf-blindness have their voter IDs in place. (9) 01 deaf-blind/MSI young adult has been helped to set up a fruit stall in Dattawadi as an Income generation activity
